First of all I would like to thank my daughters, Syndee and Melita for setting up this blog and also my website. It was my birthday present and I am so hard to buy for – IT WAS THE BEST GIFT EVER!!
Since I’m really “into” gourds these days, I wanted a way to share my hobby with friends and family and anyone who may be interested.
So the plan is to share as I go. There are two aspects of my hobby. One is current projects whether my own new creation or a class I’ve taken and the other is growing gourds. There’s a section on the website showing my first crop in 2008. I didn’t take enough pictures with dates. This year I’ll do better and have a blog to share my progress along with pictures. Yeah!
Remember I’m a “newbie” at this as you will be able to determine by the pictures if you are an experienced gourd artist. But practice makes perfect (or better anyway).
